About School

A.D. Jubilee Memorial English Medium Higher Secondary School is an English Medium School situated at Pandey Karcha, Bhatgaon in Surajpur District. The school is at present affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE). It was initially run by the St. Charles Borromeo Sisters till 2010. Later under the leadership of Bishop Patras Minj and under the interest and hardwork of Fr. Theodore Lakra, the school was undertaken up by the diocese of Ambikapur in the academic year 2010-11. In the year 2015-16 the first batch of 10th Std. appeared in the Board exam.

The school pays special attention towards the educational development of those economically and socially weaker sections of the society. It is an unaided and Minority Christian institution. It is tirelessly catering to the educational needs of boys and girls of all communities. The Motto of the A.D. Jubilee Memorial School is : Personality Development : for Love, Peace and Service. With this in the mind the management has been working ardently to march towards the excellence and the holistic development of every individual.
    Understanding the needs and demands of the local people in the begining of the academic year ( 2018-19) 11th Standard has been started with Maths, Bio and Commerce groups. Moreover, to fulfill the local people's demands it is working hard to get the CBSE affiliation with the help of God in the coming years. At present Fr. Ajay Singh Lakra is the Manger of the School and Fr. T. Joseph  Dhanaswamy is its Principal. There are thirty three qualified staffs and five non-teaching staffs working in the school.
